What is the law of God stated in the 10 commandments?
You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself an idol. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Honor your father and your mother. You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You should not give false testimony. You shall not covet.

Outline for lesson
- Open in prayer. Review last weeks question and answer.
- Review Game: Prep: before lesson, write the previous seven questions on strips of paper. Tape each questions to a Jenga block and then build a Jenga tower. Directions:Divide family into two teams.each team takes a turn to remove a block from the tower. Set blocks aside after it has been removed. If the block has a question on it, the team that removed the block gets to say the answer to that question. If it’s correct that team receives one point. If they can not remember the answer the other team can try to say the answer. Each team has 1 1/2 minute to answer the question. The team with the most points wins.
- Background: The 10 commandments were given after God had freed the Israelites from Egypt.God spoke directly to Moses for the people of Israel.God gives Moses the commandments for His people out of love. He wants to bless His people not burden them. Read Exodus 19 together.
Read exodus 20. Have your family listen to what the law says. Let them say it in their own words. Help them identify what God loves and hates.
